Why we started with the number six
A parent at Beauty World who wants a genuinely small class for all four primary subjects has usually had to split their child between a Maths centre, an English centre and a Chinese centre, or accept a class of eight or more. We built WhaleYou to remove that choice: one centre, four subjects, six chairs, two locations.
Six is the largest class in which a teacher can still check every child's work in every lesson, give each child a turn to read or explain, and change pace when someone is lost, while keeping the energy of learning with other children. The cap is written into our enrolment terms, and the timetable shows seats left out of six for every class.

The one thing we build everything around: you can see the improvement
The hardest part of paying for tuition is not the fee. It is not knowing whether it is working until the next exam tells you, by which point a whole term has gone. So we make progress something you can actually see: where your child started, the specific gaps we found, what we worked on, and what has changed since.
It is also why we do not lead with a giant distinction rate. A strong pass rate can simply mean strong students walked in the door. What tells you we are doing our job is a weaker child who is measurably better than before, and a parent who can see it happening.

How we work, from one lesson to a whole term
- Find the gap. The exact topics your child is missing, not a general label of weak.
- Teach to it. Lessons begin from that point, at a pace your child can follow.
- Track it. We keep sight of what was shaky and whether it is closing.
- Tell you. You hear what we are seeing during the term, not only on a report card.

We do not win by piling on homework
Your child already has school work. We send home only what is useful and explain why, instead of measuring ourselves by the size of the worksheet stack.
We do not promise a 100 percent distinction rate
Headline percentages are easy to print and hard to trust. We would rather show you one weaker student who genuinely improved.
We do not scare you into signing up
An assessment is there to tell you what is actually weak, what is fine, and what to do about it, not to frighten you into a package.
We do not compete on being the cheapest
A class of six costs more to run than a hall of thirty. You are paying for the attention, not the lowest price on the street.
